Paul McCreadie

Managing Director

Paul McCreadie joined Arboretum Ventures in 2006 as the firm’s first Associate and is now responsible for sourcing and leading new investment opportunities. He led Arboretum’s investment into Delphinus Medical Technologies and Wellfount Pharmacy and currently serves on the Board of Directors of each company. Paul has also been a board observer at VasoNova (acquired by Teleflex) and NeoGuide. He is the former Chief Operating Officer for CerviLenz, a portfolio company based in Ohio, where he led the re-design of the company’s first commercial product from concept to launch. Paul is responsible for the legal aspects of deal execution at Arboretum and works closely with outside counsel on legal matters.

Prior to joining Arboretum in 2006, Paul worked at Ford Motor Company for eight years, holding management positions within new product development, manufacturing, and business strategy. He was a member of the Wolverine Venture Fund (WVF) while an MBA student at Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Paul was the fund’s liaison with IntraLase, one of the WVF’s most successful investments to date, which was acquired by American Medical Optics in 2007.

Paul sits on the technical advisory boards for the University of Michigan’s Medical Innovation Center and the Frankel Commercialization Fund, a pre-seed investment fund at the Ross School of Business established to accelerate the commercialization of technologies within the University. Paul earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.


Raymond Huggenberger


Raymond Huggenberger, former COO of Sunrise Medical, brings over 20 years of deep operating experience to Inogen. Well known in the field of durable medical equipment (DME), Mr. Huggenberger will drive the expansion of Inogen’s oxygen business.

Raymond comes to Inogen with a track record of success as a Senior Executive with a global focus. He spent the last 10 years with Sunrise Medical Inc., a global manufacturer and distributor of durable medical equipment, where he held multiple senior management positions, highlighted by his service as President & Chief Operating Officer from 2002 to 2004. During his tenure with Sunrise, he succeeded in returning the company to positive revenue growth, and implemented “lean principles” to greatly improve the company’s cost structure. During his career in the DME industry, Raymond has held positions in Marketing, Sales, Product Development and General Management.

Raymond was instrumental in several acquisitions and divestitures and was part of the core team to take Sunrise private in December 2000. He was also part of the core team who successfully spun off the German TA Healthcare division, which was sold to Warburg Pincus in January 1998.

Raymond is a graduate from AKAD University in Rendsburg, Germany in Marketing and from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France in Advanced Marketing Strategies.


Tadd M. Miller


Tadd M. Miller is the founder and president of Indianapolis-based Milhaus Ventures, LLC, the parent company of Milhaus Development and Milhaus Capital. After creating a business plan in college to pursue mixed-use developments, he co-founded City Centre Associates. The company led the renaissance of downtown living in Indianapolis and brought new life to older industrial blocks by building elegant residential buildings including The Packard, Hudson, DeSoto, Alten and Clevelander condominiums. In 2006, with a change in partnership, City Centre was reorganized and continued to pursue condominium projects including The Maxwell, The Commons at City Centre, Monon & Main, and The Residences at Coconut Point. Throughout Indiana and Florida, Tadd has led the development of more than 1,000 condominiums valued in excess of $300 million.

He graduated from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Ball State University, completed his MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University, and then received his law degree from Indiana University. He is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a co-founder of Indianapolis-based Wellfount Pharmaceuticals, one of the state’s 40 fastest growing companies. Tadd has been named one of Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40,” “Young Professional of the Year” by the Young Professionals of Central Indiana and “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate.” In 2007, Junior Achievement named him “Indy’s Best and Brightest” in real estate.

In his free time, Tadd is an instrument-rated pilot and enjoys traveling with his wife Julie and son Ethan.


Eric Orme


Eric Orme has over 17 years experience in management and broad business functions, working with both large companies and small private endeavors. As Chief Operating Officer for AIT Laboratories, Eric oversaw Finance, Sales and Marketing, HR and Business Operations for the fast growing Healthcare Services company. Eric helped lead the sale of AIT in 2009 to a 100% employee owned ESOP, and during his tenure, the company grew from roughly 90 employees to nearly 500 employees in four years. Eric also worked for Boston Scientific for seven years where he held various roles in Finance, Marketing and Sales Leadership. Other experience includes working for Price Waterhouse Consulting, helping lead a venture backed company called, and working on Capitol Hill for a US congressman.

Eric holds both an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics through the Honors Division at Indiana University.
